Case Study 2: Yeetz Official Sunglasses

Brand Identity Visual Design Assistance

YEET: An Exclamation of Happiness, Excitement or all around Good Energy

In the late fall of 2019 into the early winter of 2020 I connected with the two masterminds behind Yeetz Official, Bri & Javi. Yeetz is a gnarly sunglasses brand based out of Florida. It is a company that is inspired by water sport culture (jet skiing) and other sports including football. They wanted to start their own brand because they found that it was time to end the frustrations of losing or breaking expensive pairs of sunglasses while out on the water. These sunglasses are made from a material that prevents corrosion allowing for the sunglasses to have a longer life span.

YEETZ started in full force in the winter of 2020 with a spanking new logo and some complimentary stickers.

The logo build itself is made using a thick tip Montana paint marker. After drawing a few versions, this one was chosen. I moved forward with digitally editing and cleaning up the logo (thank you Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator). Adding a stroke behind it to give it some dimension, Yeetz stands out loudly.
