Boston Queers on Wheels is a collective group of LGBTQ folks who meet up and ride bike trails or long bike rides. For June 2023, I was given the opportunity to design and print a few muscle tank tops for BQOW to have and sell. The original graphic featured a cat and bike wheel with more in-depth detailing. I played around with the graphic itself and pulled some of the elements to allow for it to look like a stamp. With a goal for the BQOW text to take the hero messaging priority, YF’s sub text is in the foot of the bike wheel representing the collaborative opportunity.
These were printed by the order. We set up a pre-order option on the YF shop that allowed for choosing size. Once the deadline for preorders hit, I printed about 36 shirts. Some of which were sold at the 2023 Boston Dyke Mark event last June, just in time for LGBTQ Pride month.
