Macfarlane Research Greenhouses
Square Trifold Brochure
I was tasked with building a new trifold brochure for the university’s greenhouses located off of route 4’s edge of campus. This brochure is 2-sided and showcases a robust amount of information regarding the greenhouses, initiatives and research spaces. The university’s NH Agricultural Experiment Station and College of Life Sciences and Agriculture run the Macfarlane Greenhouses, a space that was created for research, teaching, outreach. There are sections throughout the brochure that provide information on all of the facilities initiatives. There is also a floor map of the greenhouses available on the interior, with labels indicating areas that are more active or off limits.
From the Macfarlane Greenhouses webpage: “The facility provides highly controlled environments for numerous research projects, including ornamental and food crop breeding, sustainable ornamental plant nutrition and development, biological pest control, bioremediation, and plant genetic development as well as substantial graduate instructional activities. The greenhouse environments are monitored and precisely regulated through a computer-based control system that creates a sustainable growing environment through the conservation of heat, electricity, water and fertilizer and increased plant resistance to insect pests and diseases.”
